Jo Daviess County Health Department provides COVID-19 update

GALENA–The Jo Daviess County Health Department reports that as of Thursday, June 17, there has been one confirmed case of COVID-19 since this past Monday. There are two people in quarantine.

The health department also reports:

•There are no additional clinics at Midwest Medical Center planned as the need at this time for mass clinics has greatly decreased. The Jo Daviess County Health Department is collaborating with the local pharmacies on their efforts. If the need arises that additional clinics are needed we will have them at the Health Department.

•The CDC covid data tracker as of June 18: 12,785 fully vaccinated or 60.2 percent of total population; 18 and over, 72.6 percent; 12 and over, 68.1 percent; and , 65 and over, 99.7 percent.

•Current inventory: 220 doses of Moderna and 45 doses of Johnson & Johnson.
