JO DAVIESS COUNTY–For the first time in months, the Jo Daviess County Health Department reported zero cases of COVID-19 in the county. As of Monday, June 14, no people were quarantined or in isolation with the active disease.

There were no additional clinics at Midwest Medical Center planned, as the need at this time for mass clinics has greatly decreased.

The Center for Disease Control’s Covid data tracker as of June 13 for the county: 12,604 people are fully vaccinated (59.4 percent of total population). For people 18 and older, it is 71.8 percent. The percent of population 12 to 17 is 67.2 percent. Vaccinated in the 65 and older age group is 99.1 percent.

As for the current Jo Daviess County vaccination inventory, there are 220 doses of Moderna and 45 doses of Janssen (Johnson & Johnson).
